Sandi Gray-Terry, MSW, LCSW

I have worked with elders and families throughout my 25-year career as a psychiatric social worker, and have worked almost exclusively with seniors in medical settings for the past six years.

My training includes hundreds of hours of post-graduate study of the biological, social, cognitive and psychological aspects of aging (including common medical and psychological illnesses and their treatment) as well as palliative care, dementia, delirium, Alzheimer's, dangerous medications in the elderly, substance use and abuse, and using music to activate elders' memory and engagement.

I aim to understand the full life of each individual.  My goal is to problem-solve and make changes -- in one's home environment, with medications, or with communication methods --  that can create a higher quality of life for all.  My desire is to reduce stress of the declining elder, as well as on all caregivers, and minimize caregiver burnout.

My service is specialized, personalized, individualized.  My service is limited to weekly coordination of 4 elders to give me the dedicated time to fully care FOR, and ABOUT your loved one.

When you are at wit's end, I will remind you to "stop trying to fix and just love."

I am happy to provide a half hour pro bono phone consultation, or reply to emails prior to scheduling your Initial Assessment.  Please send me an email to schedule.
